Terminal 1

The newly constructed airport of Jeddah is called Terminal 1. It hosts most of the airlines in the world except a few ones. Soon, it will be hosting all the airlines from around the world.

Currently, Jeddah Airport Terminal 1 is hosting Saudi Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines, Gulf Air, FlyNas, Ethiopian Airlines, FlyaDeal, Air France, Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways, Royal Jordanian, Oman Air, Fly Dubai, Malaysia Airlines, Air Canada, British Airways, Middle East Airlines, American Airlines, Virgin Australia and many more.

How to go to Makkah?

The best way to go to Makkah from Jeddah Airport Terminal 1 is by train. You can book the Haramain train ticket online as it costs only SR 69/person, while the meter taxi charges around SR 250.

If you decide to take a taxi, take a green-colored airport taxi from the basement.

North Terminal

For many decades, the north terminal used to host all international airlines coming to Jeddah, but now most have moved to Terminal 1.

How to go to Makkah?

The best way to visit Makkah from Jeddah Airport North Terminal is by taxi. However, ensure you don’t pay more than SR 200 to SR 250 and tell the driver you want to be dropped off at the hotel gate. 

Hajj Terminal

Although the Hajj terminal in Jeddah is dedicated to Hajj flights only, it hosts regular flights from some airlines.

Jeddah Hajj Terminal hosts Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Biman Airlines, Kam Air, Qanot Sharq, Air Algerie and many more.

South Terminal

Jeddah South Terminal used to operate all airlines of Saudi Arabia. However, since 2018, it has closed its operations.

You can use the shuttle bus service to move from one terminal to another. It offers service from Terminal 1 and other terminals.
