How to pay rent (Ejar) through SADAD?

Starting from Jan 15, 2024, you cannot pay house rent in cash or by a bank transfer. The Real Estate General Authority has made it mandatory to pay the residential rent only through MADA or SADAD. 

• You must have  a registered rent contract with Ejar to use this service.

Pay rent through Mada Card

In order to pay Ejar/rent through your Mada Card;

• Log in to your account: https://eservices.ejar.sa/ar/public/login
• Click on the “Dashboard” tab.
• Find the contract and click on the “Make Payment” button.
• On the next screen, the Ejar system will show you the amount of rent installment to pay.
• Enter your Mada or Debit Card details to pay the rent.

Pay ejar through SADAD

In order to pay Ejar/rent through SNB bank using SADAD; 

• Download the Application through PlayStore or iTunes.
• Log in to your Internet banking account.
• Select “SADAD“.
• Click on “One Time SADAD Payment“.
• Biller: Gov. Agencies.
• Ejar SADAD Code: 153.
• Subscriber Number: Contract Number from Ejar website.
• Download the contract copy from Ejar.

Pay rent by a bank transfer or cash

In case you have paid your rent through bank transfer or cash, you need to request a receipt through the Ejar website.

Keep in mind that starting from Jan 15, 2023, the cash and bank transfers are not acceptable by the Saudi Authorities for the payment of the residential rent.

• Log in to your account: https://eservices.ejar.sa/ar/public/login
• Click on the “Dashboard” tab.
• Find the contract and click on the “Request a Voucher” button.
• Enter the amount paid.
• Payment Method: Bank or Cash.
• Payment Date: The exact date of the payment.

After this, the landlord will issue you a receipt for the rent payment through the Ejar system.
