Saudis who want to marry foreign women should first obtain approval from relevant government bodies and submit marriage applications through official channels.
Major General Assaf Qureshi, who is the director of Makkah police said that any marriage proposal from outside the kingdom goes through a very vigilant and strict procedure before issuing an approval or rejection.
The committee then shall decide to approve the proposal or reject it. Also, it must be taken into account that to make a valid decision, the committee requires a long time to process the application.
