How to book a COVID-19 test appointment?

You can book a COVID-19 test appointment through the Sehaty application as well as the Tawakkalna application in Saudi Arabia. Here are the procedures.

COVID-19 test appointment – Sehaty Application

In order to book a COVID-19 test appointment through the Sehaty Application for Iqama Holders;

• Download the Application from Playstore or iTunes.
• Create your Sehaty account by entering
  • Iqama Number.
  • Phone Number.
  • Date of Birth.
• Now sign in to your account on the Sehaty application.

On the home page of the Sehaty Application;

• Tap on the “COVID-19 Tests” button.
• Who do you want to book a test appointment for? Select “Me“
  • For Dependents COVID-19 test appointment, apply through Tawakkalna (explained below).
• Click on the “COVID-19 test appointment“.

At this stage, you will have to answer a series of questions before the Sehaty system allows you to book a COVID-19 mass test appointment.

On the next page, you are required to select the station, date, and time for the COVID-19 test appointment through the Sehaty application.

• You will receive an SMS confirming your appointment.
• You can go to the center at any time on the day of your appointment. There is no need to wait for your appointment time.

Check COVI-19 Test Result on Sehaty

After the test sample is taken, it takes around 8-12 hours for the result. In order to check the COVID-19 test result on the Sehaty application;

• Tap on the “COVID-19 Tests” button.
• Who do you want to book a test appointment for? Select “Me“
• Click on the “COVID-19 test appointment“.
• Select “Test COVID Results“.

Negative: Based on laboratory results, it was found that you DO NOT currently have an active COVID-19 infection.

Positive: Based on laboratory results, it was found that you currently have an active COVID-19 infection.

COVID-19 test appointment – Tawakkalna

In order to book a COVID-19 test appointment through the Tawakkalna application;

• Create a Tawakkalna Account.
• Click on the “Services” tab.
• Select “COVID-19 Test” among the options.
• Select the family member.
• Click on the “Book and View COVID-19 Test Appointments“.
• Answer a few health-related questions.

At this stage to book a COVID-19 test appointment through Tawakkalna, select the station, date, and time for the COVID-19 test appointment through the Sehaty application.

• You will receive an SMS confirming your appointment.
• You can go to the center at any time on the day of your appointment. There is no need to wait for your appointment time.

Check COVI-19 Test Result on Tawakkalna

After the test sample is taken, it takes around 8-12 hours for the result. In order to check the COVID-19 test result on the Tawakkalna application;

• Click on the “Services” tab.
• Select “COVID-19 Test” among the options.
• Select the family member.
• Click on “View Previous Results“.

COVID-19 test appointment – Family Visit Visa

In order to book a COVID-19 test appointment for people who are on family visit visa or GCC ID holders; 

• Download the Application from Playstore or iTunes.
• Select “COVID-19 test appointment for border ID and GCC ID“
• Click on the “Next” button.
• Choose Identification Type: Border Number.
• Enter Border Number.
• Select Date of Birth and complete the process to book a COVID-19 test appointment for family visit visa holders.
