How to stamp/attest from chamber of commerce?

In order to validate any document issued by your employer, you need attestation or stamp from the Chamber of Commerce either online or manually. 

Why a stamp from the Chamber of Commerce?

Generally, outside parties don’t trust letters issued by private companies without attestation from the chamber of commerce. There is no need for the chamber of commerce stamp for a government letter. Here are some letters generally attested by the chamber of commerce.

• Introduction letter for visa processing
• Family Visit Visa application form
• Letter to apply for a permanent family visa

Saudi Chamber of Commerce online attestation

Many companies have created online accounts with the Chamber of Commerce to do the attestation work.

• In case you are working in any such company, the HR of your company will make an online stamp of the Saudi Chamber of Commerce on the letters.
• Moreover, you will not be required to visit the Chamber of Commerce to submit the family visit visa application as it will also be done online.

Attestation procedure from the Chamber of Commerce

• Find the nearest Chamber of Commerce office. You can only go to the Chamber of Commerce of the city where your employer is registered for attestation. 

• Take a token of stamping the documents or submitting the family visit visa application (Tafeel).
• Upon your turn, the officer will verify the signature and stamp of your company and affix the stamp of the chamber of commerce.
• In case your employer is a VIP member of the Chamber of Commerce, you can directly go to the VIP counter for attestation.

Fee for the attestation

• The chamber of commerce fee to attest any document is SR 25.
• The fee to submit the family visit visa application is SR 35.
• The fee must be paid either through a debit or credit card. The Chamber of Commerce does not accept cash payments.

The validity of COC attestation

The validity or the expiry of the chamber of commerce stamp is 12 months. After a period of 12 months, you will have to do the entire attestation procedure again.

The timing to submit a family visit visa application to the Chamber of Commerce is from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
