Islam Zween, CEO of Argaam

Islam Zween is the CEO of Aragaam, the leading and most trustworthy financial newspaper in Saudi Arabia. He holds a Master’s degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and has over 25 years of experience in technology, media, and business management. 

Mehmood Khan, CEO of the Hevolution

Mehmood Khan, a Pakistani national, is the CEO of the Hevolution Foundation, the first nonprofit organization to fund research through grants and provide investments in biotechnology for health sciences. Khan holds an MD from a prestigious university and has over 10 years of experience, including managing programs at the Mayo Clinic and serving as the chief scientific officer at PepsiCo.

Jackie Y. Ying – King Faisal Specialist Hospital

Jackie Y. Ying, a Singaporean scientist, served as the founding executive director of the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore from 2003 to 2018. She currently leads the NanoBio Lab and is a senior research fellow at the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research. She has published extensively on biomedical engineering and nanotechnology. Additionally, she was elected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and named one of the “100 Engineers of the Modern Era.”

Niveen Khashab – KAUST

Niveen Khashab, a Lebanese scientist, is an expert in bioengineering and nanomaterials. She is an associate professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and was honored with the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award in 2017 for her innovative contributions in drug delivery and technology for observing antioxidant activity in cells.

Noreddine Ghaffour – KAUST

Noreddine Ghaffour is a French scientist with a PhD in membrane separation techniques from the University of Montpellier (1995). He is currently a professor of environmental science and engineering at KAUST. His expertise lies in water desalination techniques, and he has published numerous articles and conducted research in the fields of environmental science, renewable energy, and membrane separation.

Faraz Khalid – CEO of Noon

Faraz Khalid, CEO of Noon e-commerce platform, holds an MBA from the Wharton School and co-founded Namshi, where he served as managing director.

Dr. Moatasem Al-Zoubi

Dr. Moatasem Al-Zoubi is a Syrian neurosurgeon who has performed numerous surgeries to separate Siamese twins in the Kingdom and abroad.

Rami Al-Qawasmi – CEO of Mawdoo3.com

Rami Al-Qawasmi is the CEO of Mawdoo3.com, and he is known for his passion for artificial intelligence and startup development. Before the age of 30, he has created and developed over 10 companies. Under his leadership, Mawdoo3.com raised $23.5 million in a funding round.

Ahmed Mirghani – BIM Ventures

Ahmed Mirghani, a Sudanese entrepreneur with an MBA in entrepreneurship from Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship, is a co-founder of BIM Ventures. He also founded the “Angel Investor Mine” network, which has brought traditional investors into the world of venture capital and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
