Saudi arrested for feeding SR 500 to a Camel

A viral social media video has yet allowed for another arrest. In the video, a man is seen feeding an SR 500 note to a camel. The currency note was real and was deliberately given to the camel.

The video was shared multiple times, and people had different opinions about it. The Al-Dawadami Police have arrested the man who was seen feeding the currency note to the camel. According to the Department of Public Security, the Al-Dawadami Police have been able to trace the man from the video.

According to Saudi law, deliberately destroying currency notes is a criminal offense. Currency notes are state property and shall be kept safely. They shall not be destroyed, mended, or torn deliberately.

If done so, it is a criminal offense punishable by a term of imprisonment ranging from 3 to 5 years or a fine ranging from SR 3,000 to SR 10,000.
