The incident happened at the Khafji school where an eight-year-old schoolboy fell into the water tank.
Al-Shammari instantly risked his life and rescued the boy who had fallen into the water tank. People all over the school thanked him for saving the little one.
The people on social media are also praising him and regarding him as a “national hero”.
