During the five daily prayers, photography should not be your preference. You should also avoid taking pictures during the Tawaf (circumambulation) and while performing other rituals.
Respect the privacy of others
While taking pictures, be mindful of other people’s privacy. Avoid taking pictures of individuals without their consent.
Do not take selfies
It is considered inappropriate to take selfies in front of the Holy Kaaba. Instead, concentrate on praying and feeling the moment. You would be rewarded if your heart connects to Allah, not because of your selfie.
Avoid using flash
Using a flash can be distracting and disrespectful to others. It is best to turn off the flash and adjust your camera settings accordingly.
