Uhud Mountain
The battle of Uhud took place at Uhud mountain. Pilgrims coming from around the world love to visit the places Uhud mountain and the related cemetery where around 70 Sahaba رضي الله عنهم are buried.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ cast a glance at Uhud and said: Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it. – Sahih Muslim 1393b

Mount of archers جبل الرماة
The mount of archers is also known as Mount Ainain جبل عينين. It is a small mountain near the mountain of Uhud.
In the battle of Uhud, 50 Muslim archers were appointed by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to stand on the mountain under the command of Abdullah bin Jubair رضي الله عنه.

However, a slight deviation of commandments by the archers led to defeat in the battle and the martyrdom of 70 Sahaba. Later, these archers were forgiven by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. – Ali ‘Imran – 3:159

Uhud Mountain Cave
The cave of the Uhud mountain is the place where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his Sahaba took shelter during the battle of Uhud when the people of Quraish attacked for the second time.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “Be firm O Uhud! For there is none upon you except a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs (Umar رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ , and ‘Uthman رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ). ” – Jami`at-Tirmidhi 3697

Cave of Bani Haram
The cave of Bani Haram is also called the cave of prostration as Prophet Muhammad ﷺ performed a long Sajda here and later explained the conversation between him and Angel Jibareel عليه السلام.
- Angel Jibareel عليه السلام said: Allah is asking “How would you like me to treat your community?”
- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: ‘Allah knows best!’
- Angel Jibareel عليه السلام said: Allah is saying He shall never distress you on account of your community.

It has also been narrated that during the battle of Khandaq, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spent some nights in the cave of Bani Haram.

Mount Thawr جبل ثور
Mount Thawr is is a small hill behind Uhud mountain which marks the northern boundary of Madina. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ declared the south and north boundaries of Haram of Madina between Mount Thawr & Mount Ayr.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Madina is a Haram (sanctuary) from Mount Thawr to Mount Ayr. – Sahih al-Bukhari 7306

Mount Ayr جبل عير
Mount Ayr is the second biggest mountain in Madina after Uhud mountain and it marks the southern boundary of Haram in Madina.
Mount Ayr is a long mountain extending from east to west, with a flat top and no peak. Hence the name “Ayr”, which in Arabic denotes leveled, extended male donkey back.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Madina is a Haram (sanctuary) from Mount Thawr to Mount Ayr. – Sahih al-Bukhari 7306

Mount Sela جبل سلع
The Mount of Sela is located at a distance of 500 meters from the Masjid Al Nabwi. It is located in the west and this mountain has witnessed the trench battle. The battle of the trench occurred at the foot of mount Sela.
The name of this mountain refers to the event where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ seek rain. The Almighty accepted the Prophet’s prayers.

Jabal Anam جبل أنعم
Anam Mountain rests just on the right of Wadi al-Aqeeq. A castle visible on the top of the mountain was built during the Madinah siege by the Ottoman Sultan, Abdulmejid I.
