A citizen has shared a video clip showing that he has received a traffic fine of SR 1,000 for driving his vehicle on the shoulder of the road. When he checked the picture of the traffic violation from Absher, he found it was taken from traffic cameras installed on the signboards.
As per our understanding, most of the cameras installed on the signboards have the following features to;
- Check if the driver is using a mobile phone.
- Check if the driver is wearing a seat belt.
In my opinion, the latest cameras installed also have the feature of checking if someone is driving in the yellow lane.
