How to check iqama number with border number?

You can find out the status of the issuance of your Iqama by checking the Iqama number with the border number or the passport number.

Check Iqama Number with Border Number

To check your Iqama Number by entering the Border Number on the Ministry of Labor website;

• Open https://www.mol.gov.sa/
• Change the language to “English“.
• Enter the Border Number. 
• Enter the Date of Birth as per the passport.

The system will check and fetch details such as your name, gender, nationality, and residence permit number if Jawazat has already issued it.

However, if the MOL system does not bring the Iqama number on the display, it has not yet been issued. In this case, you should check the work permit status.

Remember that the Maktab Amal card is issued before issuing the Iqama. So, in case your work permit has been issued, you can feel relieved that your employer is working on your Iqama.

Check name with passport number

To check the names of the Iqama holder using their passport numbers;

• Open the MOL website: mol.gov.sa
• Enter the Passport Number.
• Enter the captcha code.
• The MOL system will show you the full name of the Iqama holder.

Check name with Iqama Number

To check the name of an expat using his Iqama number;

• Open the MOL website: mol.gov.sa
• Enter the Iqama Number.
• Enter the captcha code.
• The MOL system will show you the full name of the Iqama holder.

Check company name with Iqama Number

Click on the link to check the company name by Iqama Number;

• https://www.mol.gov.sa/Services/Inquiry/LaborOfficeServicesInquiry.aspx
• نوع الخدمة: Select the option نقل خدمة عامل وافد.
• رقم إقامة العامل: Enter the Iqama number.
• Enter the verification code shown on your computer screen.

The MOL system will show the company name on the next page.

What if the Iqama is not issued?

Remember that if your employer does not issue your Iqama within 90 days of your arrival to Saudi Arabia, you are entitled to transfer sponsorship without Kafeel’s consent.
