How to check Iqama Huroob status online?

If you are not working under your sponsor, checking your Iqama Huroob’s status on the MOL website in KSA is vital. Here is the process;

Types of Huroob/Absent from Work

Huroob means that you ran away from your sponsor, and he reports to the government that his employee is absent from work and no longer his responsibility. There are two types of Huroob;

1. The employer sets Huroob when the employee remains absent from work.
2. The Ministry of Interior sets Huroob when an employee does not return on an exit re-entry visa.

Check Iqama Huroob status

To check Iqama Huroob status online, open the MOL website https://www.mol.gov.sa/services/inquiry/

Enter one of the following;

• Iqama number or;
• Border Number or;
• Passport Number.

RESULT

The MOL system will show one of the following two messages;

• علي رأس العمل: NO HUROOB.
• متغيب عن العمل: HUROOB/Absent from Work.

Please note that the records of domestic workers are not updated on the MOL website; therefore, they cannot check their Huroob status from this website. If they try to check, the system gives the following error;

Can we check Huroob in Absher?

Unfortunately, Absher does not allow you to check Huroob’s status. However, you can continue to use your Absher and Tawakkalna applications even after the Huroob.

What if caught by the police?

When the Huroob status is set on your Iqama, the Police search for you. Once the police catch you, they detain you and send you to the detention center.

After a few days, you are deported with a term of the ban to enter back to Saudi Arabia.
