How to apply for Umrah visa online?

The Ministry of Hajj has launched a platform through which you can apply for an Umrah Visa online without the help of any agent. Here is the process;

Requirements

The following are the requirements to apply for an Umrah visa online;

1. Passport Size Photograph.
2. Passport with the validity of at least 6 months.
3. Women and children should be accompanied by a husband/father or a male relative (Mahram).
   • If a woman is 45 years old or older, she is allowed to go without a Mahram.
   • List of Mahram relations in Islam.
4. Hotel + Transport + Flight Tickets booked through any of the following travel agencies.

Apply for an Umrah visa online

Step 1: Select the Travel Agency

In order to apply for an Umrah visa online;

• Open: https://maqam.gds.haj.gov.sa/Home/OTAs
• Select a Travel Agency with whom you want to perform Umrah.
  • I have selected “FlyNas” for myself.

Step 2: Sign up with the travel agent

Sign up with the Travel Agency website by entering;

• Name.
• Email.
• Phone Number.
• Password.

Step 3: Enter your trip details

In the next step to apply for an Umrah visa online you need to book your package by entering;

• Departure Airport.
• Departure Date.
• Number of Nights stay in Makkah.
• Number of Nights stay in Madina.
• Select your first stop i.e. Makkah or Madina.

Step 4: Hotel & Flight Booking

It is always better to select the hotel, transport, and tickets which are “refundable“. In case your Umrah visa is rejected, they will charge you for the Non-Refundable package.

• Select the Hotel in Makkah.
• Select the Hotel in Madina.
• Select the Transport package from the given list.
• Select the flight ticket.

Step 5: Pilgrims’ Details

At this stage for applying for an Umrah Visa online, you will have to fill in the pilgrims’ details and upload the following;

• Passport Size Photograph.
• Passport with the validity of at least 6 months. 

Step 6: Credit/Debit card details

You will be required to add your credit card/debit card information at this stage.

• Keep in mind that if you have selected any non-refundable booking at Step 4, they can charge your card at this point in time.

Step 7: Submit the Application

• Complete the recording of required data by logging into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
• The Umrah visa will be issued online so that pilgrims can print it directly.

You can now apply for the issuance of Umrah visas through the platforms of Umrah service providers approved by the MHU.
